Congratulations and a big “Hell, Yeah!” to my friend Carolyn Brown on the release of her latest contemporary Western romance, “I Love This Bar.” (I love that title!)

I picked up my copy at Barnes & Noble today–it’s displayed on our paperback tower, which means B&N is sitting up and taking notice of this author–and I can’t wait to open it up and join Carolyn’s spunky heroines and hunky cowboys. I enjoyed her “Lucky” series (Lucky in Love, Getting Lucky, and One Lucky Cowboy) so much that I just had to fire off an e-mail to our editor telling her how much I loved them. Deb asked if Sourceboks could quote me, and of course I said yes–but I never expected to end up on the cover!

I’m honored, because Carolyn has been writing Westerns for a long time, and she’s hugely talented. She’s helped me navigate the complicated world of publishing and promotion, and I think she’s going to have tremendous success with this new series. And if you like my books, you’ll definitely enjoy hers. They’re a great combination of humor and hot romance.
