How to Wrangle a Cowboy is the third book in the Cowboys of Decker Ranch series. This new cover perfectly captures Shane, who’s the oldest of the Decker Ranch cowboys! The book will be released in June of 2015, and I can’t wait for readers to get to know Shane. You’ll also meet Lindsey Ward, the veterinarian who inherits the ranch Shane’s run ever since he’s left high school. Naturally, the two of them clash over the fate of the ranch.
Here’s what happens:
He’s vowed to stay…
When Hollywood stunt rider Bud Ward passes away, leaving the huge and historic Vee Bar ranch to his granddaughter Lindsey, his foreman Shane Lockhart has just taken over custody of his six-year-old son, Cody. Cody was abandoned by his mother, and Shane, a former foster child, has vowed to give the boy a secure and happy life at the Vee Bar.
And he likes his new boss just fine.
Lindsey, a veterinarian in a wealthy Chicago suburb, wants to sell the ranch and return to the Chicago suburb where she cares for the pets of wealthy suburbanites. To convince her to stay, Shane will do just about anything. If she wants to flirt, he’ll flirt back. And if she wants to kiss him—well, it would be rude to say no. That kiss ignites a passion neither Shane nor Lindsey expected, and she decides to stay.
But is there really a place for a rough-riding cowboy in her life?
But Lindsey plans to sell off the cattle and turn the Vee Bar into a sanctuary for neglected and abused animals. Shane’s a cowboy, not a kennel attendant. Is there a place for him in Lindsey’s life—or will he have to uproot son and move on?
I’m working hard on this story right now, and I’m just crazy about the characters, and all the critters who live at the Vee Bar. The story is sweet and funny, and the unexpected passion between Shane and Lindsey is hot, hot, hot!
