On Saturday, February 26th, I’ll be signing books at the Thornton Barnes & Noble with four other authors from Colorado Romance Writers. Here’s the lineup:
Ashley March, author of “Seducing the Duchess”
After spending countless hours memorizing both traditional and simplified Chinese characters, perfecting her tones, and practicing her speaking with any Chinese native she could find, Ashley successfully graduated with a degree in Mandarin Chinese. She was determined to be the next best Chinese translator in the world… Then she discovered writing historical romances was as much fun as reading them, and her Chinese capabilities have never been the same. When she isn’t writing about sexy, untamed heroes and intelligent, independent heroines in Victorian Britain, Ashley stays busy chasing around her 1-year old daughter, attempting to do housework, and hiking in the beautiful foothills of Colorado.

Melissa Mayhue, author of Healing the Highlander
Melissa Mayhue knows a great deal about men — after all, she’s wife to one and mother of three. She and her family live in Colorado, in the shadow of the beautiful Rocky Mountains, with three insanely spoiled dogs, one domineering cat, a turtle with an attitude, and way too many fish in their aquarium.

Allegra Gray, author of “Nothing But Deception”
Allegra Gray is a former military officer–turned English professor–turned homeland defense analyst. One thing she has always been, though, is a storyteller. Allegra wrote her first book at the age of 5 (it has yet to be published).
Allegra began her publishing career while teaching in the English department of the U.S. Air Force Academy, but soon discovered that non-fiction, academic work was not enough to satisfy her creative drive. She turned to fiction, and launched her career as a novelist with Kensington Publishing, with the release of a historical romance, “Nothing But Scandal” in 2009.
Allegra lives in Colorado and writes novels full of steamy intrigue that interweave her love of history, legend, and romance.

Mary Hagen, author of “Echo of Love”
Mary Hagen lives on a trout farm in northern Colorado with her husband, Harold. Growing up on a ranch in southeastern Wyoming, she raised cattle, sheep and horses, developing a love for animals. Today, she enjoys writing about horses and the characters who work with them. For several years she wrote articles about the out-of-doors, local history pieces, and feature articles for a small newspaper in Fort Collins, Colorado. She’s had children’s fiction published in Golden Magazine and Wee Wisdom, and several articles in national magazines. Echo of Love is the first adult fiction published under Mary’s name, and her first book for AVALON.
